Jeju offers a very flexible entry/departure policy, which allows visitors to stay without a visa for up to 30 days when visitors enter into Jeju directly from abroad not through Incheon or Gimpo airport. If visitors transit at Incheon or Gimpo, they need a visa clearance according to their nationalities.
Visa-free Entry to Jeju: 180 Countries (Only 11 countries are required to apply for a visa: Afghanistan, Cuba, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, Macedonia, Palestine, Sudan, and Syria).

Access to Jeju Island

1) From foreign airports to Jeju International Airport

Direct flight services to Jeju international airport (CJU) from 13 foreign cities are available: Japan (Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, Narita), China (Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Dalian, Haerbin, Changchun), and Taiwan (Taipei).

2)From Incheon international airport (Incheon airport ¡æ Gimpo airport ¡æ Jeju airport)

Most international flights for South Korea arrive at Incheon international airport (ICN).
Although there are flight connections to Jeju international airport from Incheon airport, it is not frequent (only two flights a day). The best way to Jeju airport is via Gimpo international airport (GMP). To go to Gimpo airport, you have to pass immigrations and reclaim your baggages.

At Gimpo airport, use domestic flight to Jeju. There are flights to Jeju every 10~20 minutes and takes about one hour. Reservation (for Gimpo-Jeju) can be made at following airlines :
Korean Air, Asiana, Jin Air, Jeju Air, Eastar Jet.
